Xichang Sanfeng Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. is a waste-to-energy BOT project company wholly owned by Sanfeng Environment Group, located in the Daliang Mountain, covered by an area of 56 acre. With 1200 tons per day domestic waste treatment capacity, the first phase of the project was equipped with a 600 tons per day waste incinerator and a 12MW turbine generator. Until now, Xichang Project has disposed more than 400,000 tons of domestic waste and produced 110 million kilowatt hours of electricity, with qualified emission which higher than EU 2010 standard. The framework agreement on strategic cooperation for the second phase of the project (600 tons per day) was formally signed in June 2017, which expanded to domestic waste treatment to Xichang City and surrounding six counties, including Dechang, Puge, Butuo, Xide, Minning, and Yuexi.
