Chongqing Sanfeng Covanta Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sanfeng Covanta”) was established in 1998. It is a wholly-owned  engineering technology subsidiary of Chongqing Sanfeng Environment Group Corp., Ltd

As a pioneer in Waste-to-Energy industry of China, Sanfeng Covanta always adheres to the social responsibility and service aim of “for a cleaner world”. It introduced the world-class Waste-to-Energy technology and flue gas cleaning technology from Martin GmbH since its establishment. Sanfeng Covanta is dedicated to developing the Waste-to-Energy industry in domestic and overseas market to realize the environmental treatment and resource utilization of household waste. After more than a decade of accumulation and innovation, Sanfeng Covanta has trained large numbers of special talents and obtained numerous professional qualifications in design, consulting, construction, power debugging, operation and other fields. Sanfeng Covanta has built the business development mode which covers design, procurement, construction, commissioning, equipment supply and technical service in WTE project. This mode covers the complete industrial chain and forms three parts of main business:

· To provide Waste-to-Energy technology and core equipment

· To provide EPC services to Waste-to-Energy plants

· To provide O&M services for Waste-to-Energy plants

Up to now, Sanfeng Covanta has held the leading position in the industry and become the vice-president unit of Chinese Environmental Protection Industry Association and the leading unit of National Environmental Industry Solid Waste Disposal. It has been successively named the National Excellent Environmental Backbone Enterprise, Advanced Unit of Environmental Protection and Chongqing New High-tech Enterprise. As the pioneer in WTE industry, Sanfeng Covanta has actively participated in standard compilation and filled up the blank of industry and regulate industrial development. The national standard “Municipal Solid Waste Incinerator and Heat Recovery Boiler” mainly compiled by Sanfeng Covanta was issued and implemented on June 1, 2009. Sanfeng Covanta has chiefly compiled or co-compiled 17 national and industrial standards so far.
